  • It is nice to visit and it is unusual but it is not spectacular. I would say it's one of the most interesting things I've seen in Banff. It's something you want to bring your whole family to see. It i...  more »
  • Not to Natural bridge, only the ear spread more than the resonance voice, thinking that this river is really rushing! Sure enough, the onrushing of the river is a moment of non-stop in front of our eyes running burn. I just don't know why this is called Natural Bridge, and goes to the front, "Oh, it is!" "The huge stones in the river, which are being torn out by the Wildwater Glacier, have formed a bridge like this," he said. Water can be worn through stone, in which case it is a river of great force.

  • This is a pretty scenic stop whether it be summer or winter. The stop is on the same road as Emerald Lake, so why not detour to see the entire Kicking Horse River channel under a Natural Bridge carved...  more »

  • This place is amazing. If you're driving through, make a quick stop here; it's close to the highway. Even if you only have a few minutes, it's quite beautiful here. You can hike around if you want, or go on to Emerald Lake (also worth a look). It wasn't very crowded, and you'll be glad you stopped for a couple pictures.
  • Such an interesting stop and it is pretty amazing what the power of water can do to rock over time. The waterfall through the rock is awesome and the color of the water is stunning aqua blue. I have been here in summer and the raging waters of spring but the point just before everything freezes in winter is such a cool thing to see.
  • Spectacular piece from nature. If you're planning to visit natural bridge, you definitely visit the Emerald Lake which is only 10 minutes by driving!
  • Natural Bridge is a fine attraction. Nothing too exciting, but probably worth a quick stop. The water was a taupe color the day I was there, so don't necessarily expect the same clear blue/emerald color that you'll find at Emerald Lake.
  • Love this place! I recommend to anyone driving by to just stop and take a look. It takes all of 5 mins to get there from the highway and there is no hike to get to it!

Where to stay in Yoho National Park

Despite its isolated location, Yoho National Park offers a handful of luxury accommodations, most along Scenic Route 1. Some of the park's more remote lodges are accessible only by private transport. These isolated retreats--many of which deliberately avoid TV reception or Wi-Fi--typically cost a pretty penny. If you're looking for something a bit more affordable, consider staying in nearby Lake Louise or Banff and head to the park on a day trip.
