  • We went in April, and the Lake was under the snow. It was wonderful! Thanks super worth knowing! And we're still in the Lake. But it's not the best view of the place. Look in the summer!

  • Simply magnificent! Breathtaking and beautiful. A must see if you're in the area. Absolutely worth the trip! I would go back here again in a heartbeat. Amazing photos to be taken here! Just relax and enjoy the beautiful nature this country has to offer.
  • The natural bridge as well as Hamilton falls on the way to emerald lake are nice easy side trips. Beautiful!
  • This lake is absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend the Plain of Six Glaciers hike. It's not especially strenuous, and it offers amazing close-up views of the glaciers. If you pay attention, you'll be able to hear, and maybe see, the occasional avalanche. It gets really crowded, so arrive before 8:30am for easy parking and less competition for photo spots.
  • Emerald Lake lives up to the name. Expect to see some of the greenest water that you have ever seen in your life. I recommend to take the trail around the lake because there are just endless different views and perspectives from which to enjoy the lake.
  • Absolutely loved visiting this lake. My kids and teens both enjoyed themselves. We had to wait a very long time to get a parking spot so that put a damper on things but we want to go back and rent canoes ($60 per hour, up to 3 adults per canoe, 4 people if some are kids). There is a cute cute restaurant and also a little snack window right close to the lake, along with an adorable gift shop where you rent the canoes. A 2 minute walk will get you to the lodge. This was worth the drive and the wait for a parking space. Will be back to enjoy by canoe and also to do the hike around the lake!
