  • 115 kms from Canmore and in BC territory is YOHO National park. You can park along the road if lot is full. Yet another beautiful lake in jade colored serene waters. We are glad we saved time...  more »
  • I see some people commenting that this lake isn’t as nice as Louise or moraine however for some reason it’s my favourite. Been here twice and just always have a fantastic experience. Very serene and.....  more »
  • I had high expectations from this tourist spot. It was a good one however if you've been to Moraine Lake or Lake Louise, I guess this won't give you that WOW factor you're looking for anymore.  more »
  • Incredible place. Worth every step of the walk. Ice cold water. Bring water during your walk. It is possible to carry child with baby care. Beautiful beautiful place for wonderful photo. It's a long walk.
  • Super pretty lake with some awesome cross country ski trails/hiking trails! This place would be a great place for a quick hike or picnic in the summer and is very pretty to visit in winter! Make sure to pack your camera and take a few photos as well!
  • Beautiful Lake. We took our family, hiked around the lake and had a picnic. We even got to go for a swim! Chilly, but worth it!
  • The color of this lake and the view makes it different from many other. Its just half an hour away from Banff, great drive and amazing views. You can rent a kayak and go kayaking in this amazing lake. I have been there so many times and it never gets old. The view is great in summer.
  • Really cool lake to visit, and if you want amazing mountain valley views be sure to walk the Emerald Basin trail! Beware however the trail is a very steep climb for quite some time and would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or small children. The actual trail around the lake is a very easy walk, but if you go in the spring some sections may be quite muddy so wear appropriate shoes!
