Cameron River Falls Trail, Yellowknife

(4.7/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Don your walking boots for a picturesque hike through Cameron River Falls Trail. Follow the well-marked trails to a picturesque waterfall, and cross a suspension bridge for panoramic views over the forest. Once at the lookout point, you will be treated to views of a 17 m (55 ft) waterfall, a river, and a canyon. Wildlife watchers should look out for bears, beavers, waterfowl, and muskrats. While the 1.2 km (0.7 mi) dirt path and lush forest walk does not pose an immense challenge for inexperienced walkers, those with young children in strollers may have a difficult time over some of the rocks.
