  • It gives a great view of the lake and the town. Unfortunately, the abundant graffiti made it seem slightly dodgy. Easy stairs make the climb suitable for most people
  • Lots of stairs to climb but gives a good view of Yellowknife and especially where the float planes land. If you are there from Sept until end of May make sure you are properly bundled up and have mitt...  more »
  • Great view of Yellowknife. Can see the city and house boats. Nice to sit and watch the float planes. Not easily accessible for people with wheelchairs.

  • Great views of the bays and the town. It was not busy when I went though the rest of the town seemed to be and we watched the sun set.
  • It was good to see the entire area. but I felt it was dangerous because of the ice/snow. There was no railing to hold on the top of the monument. It would have been better if I saw this in summer.
  • Beautiful vantage point for views of yellowknife bay and back Bay. Watch float planes land and take off, fishing boats come and go. .
  • Nice lookout point to see the entire area around here. There are several benches where you can sit and watch the seaplanes land and takeoff as well. Be sure to park in the small parking lot on Ingraham Drive, and then you can walk from there up the stairs to the monument.
  • Dude awesome
