  • Great spot for Sunrise, sunset and to watch the Aurora..Its easy to find as you can see it from afar as its the highest point. You can part just below it and easy steps to the top.  more »
  • Perfect to see the lakes during the day and the northern lights at night! Be careful on the steps !!  more »
  • Easy walk up a hill and some steps to reach the top of this monument but worth it for the 360 deg vista over Yellowknife.  more »

  • Great views of the bays and the town. It was not busy when I went though the rest of the town seemed to be and we watched the sun set.
  • It was good to see the entire area. but I felt it was dangerous because of the ice/snow. There was no railing to hold on the top of the monument. It would have been better if I saw this in summer.
  • Beautiful vantage point for views of yellowknife bay and back Bay. Watch float planes land and take off, fishing boats come and go. .
  • Nice lookout point to see the entire area around here. There are several benches where you can sit and watch the seaplanes land and takeoff as well. Be sure to park in the small parking lot on Ingraham Drive, and then you can walk from there up the stairs to the monument.
  • Dude awesome
