  • You need to stop here to get passes to the park and for backcountry passes if you're backpacking in. The girl we purchased our passes from was super helpful and knowledgeable about the Green Gardens Trail that we were going to, and suggested which campsites were her favorites. Also a really clean bathroom which is nice after trekking in the woods in the rain and wind. Cool little gift shop as well.
  • A must visit to make the most out of your trip to Gros Morne national park. A lot of things to learn here both for adult and kids alike. Wonderfully presented exhibits and friendly park personnel. Also the lookout trail that begin at the discovery center is a very beautiful and moderately challenging trail that I highly recommend.
  • Nice view of the bay. Exhibits are OK for a rainy day, otherwise time is better spent outside.
  • Very nice building with lots of educational exhibits. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
  • Was a great hike. Kids had a great time
