  • I lived in Maple, ON for 7 years and this was in my backyard the whole time and I never went! I'm kicking myself now because look how beautiful this place was, and this is in the fall! I can only imag...  more »
  • This is a beautiful site and perfect for a wedding. The venue is a natural setting for an outdoor wedding. The dinner venue is also amazing - although it is not large. The food was delicious.
  • I was at .Centennial Park in Toronto yesterday and gave it a five star rating.. This place is completely different in what it offers but offers things to do in the great outdoors as well. Lot's of pro...  more »

  • THE CONSERVATION WASN'T A MUCH AS I HAD ANTICIPATED. I DON'T KNOW WHO THESE GUYS ARE TRYING TO FOOL.
  • Attended a wedding reception. Nice outdoor experience!
  • Nice family outing but really busy in the afternoons on weekends during the maple syrup festival. Suggest you get to the conservation area before 11 am or you will be waiting to park for the better part of an hour.
  • Don't go there on a holiday. Go on a weekday, in the morning, in the autumn. Walk through the forest, see the fall colors. Peaceful and relaxing, great place for a quick hike.
  • Just came back from Kortright on Good Friday. Little did I know that we would have a massive line up for getting in, waiting for the washroom and waiting for pancakes. Waited 2 hours and 20 minutes to get into park and parking lot even though we had online tickets. We were then told that we had to wait in another line to print our tickets, these people, at least 20, were standing in the middle of the road. Only two people working at the parking gate. After waiting this long in the car, we argued that we didn't want to wait in another line after all we already had our tickets. The attendant considered this and let us thru. What is the point of buying online tickets if they do not count the number of tickets being sold? Despite the long wait, the lot was about only 3/4 full. Our first stop after the long wait was of course, the washroom, which again was a long line up because there were only 2 working toilets in the ladies washroom which wasn't very clean at all. We also waited about another 30 minutes to get our pancakes. No signs anywhere telling us where the maple syrup was, we just 'found' it. We also bumped into some friends who were behind us in the car line up. They also had online purchased tickets. When they reached the parking gate, they were told the lot was full after waiting 2 hours. Why don't they tell people ahead of time? Why does it seem they don't have enough staff? We did see the Pioneer Sugar Shack and a staff member asked us for some 'suggestions'. I told the employee everything from the parking lot disaster, the washroom and so on. The staff member then told me that they didn't expect so many people and they only get these numbers during March Break(Why do you sell online tickets?) Thank goodness the day was nice and we could go outside. Next time, we will park on the side road and walk in-it's faster.
