  • I visited the Manitoba Museum during some down time while in Winnipeg. The Museum is located downtown. Admission was a relatively modest $11. I stayed for a little less than 90 minutes, and visited th...  more »
  • You can spend hours going through the museum to enjoy the various periods of Canadian history offered.
  • We had a lovely informative English lady as our guide and this enhanced our visit. We have always heard about the Hudson Bay Company on trips to Canada (and seen their stores) and the Manitoba Museum ...  more »

  • Terribly outdated museum. The ship is neat, but that was about it. Not worth the price. Go to the Human Rights Museum or the Children's Museum (which is FANTASTIC),
  • A very nice museum. Excellent emphasis on local history, but good information on broad topics as well. Lots to see. Every time we go, we learn something new. As parents we really liked the single pathway style. It's a nice walk and easy to keep track of the kids. We've bought a yearly membership in the past and found it was excellent value, especially for larger families. The lunch area is nice, you can bring your own bag lunch. Easy parking and close to multiple bus routes.
  • Very well designed and easy to follow with a single pathway. Lots of local and Canadian history. Only complaint is it closes quite early at 1600h (4:00 pm).
  • awesome place to spend time with kid. Main floor with livelooking exhibition on manitoba history themes, dinosaurs skeletons and midedges ship are there for exploration, not counting planetarium and science fun activities
  • This is a 5-star museum ever I've loved it I go to the summer camp for it!
