  • A very nice museum. Excellent emphasis on local history, but good information on broad topics as well. Lots to see. Every time we go, we learn something new. As parents we really liked the single pathway style. It's a nice walk and easy to keep track of the kids. We've bought a yearly membership in the past and found it was excellent value, especially for larger families. The lunch area is nice, you can bring your own bag lunch. Easy parking and close to multiple bus routes.
  • awesome place to spend time with kid. Main floor with livelooking exhibition on manitoba history themes, dinosaurs skeletons and midedges ship are there for exploration, not counting planetarium and science fun activities
  • Manitoba history is portrayed exceptionally well. It was an educational, enthralling and entertaining experience. If you like museums, don't miss this one!
  • Summer 2016 - there's some renovations being done, but it's still worth going. Looking forward to seeing the new exhibits. Always a rush being on the Nonsuch!
  • Its a nice place to spend on a cold day. It gives a very detailed description of Manitoba's history. It takes us back to prehistoric times and gives a lot of information about how evolution of various sea species came into existence. It tells us about how Manitoba came into being. Theres a lot of history in terms of the people and the culture of those times. The most amazing feature is the Non-such. It is a ship replica of the real one that sailed between Europe and Manitoba to commemorate the fur trade by the Hudsons bay company. The planetarium was good. It can be made an hour long programme instead of 35 mins and more emphasis on information of relevance rather than the future of astronomy. All in all it was a fun experience to relive the times of the past and know more about how things came into being. It is worth it!
