  • This is easily the nicest park I've visited in Winnipeg. Sporting something for everyone, it's also big enough to accommodate parking in the core area, and has a great jogging/exercise trail, beautiful flower gardens next to the very peaceful fountains and sculpture area, and is surrounded by open all purpose fields, baseball diamonds, soccer fields and historical landmarks. Combine all that with the conservatory, museum, and zoo connected to the park a mere five minutes away you have a very simple must visit location.
  • Beautiful and breath taking. Sculptures are fantastic. Best to go during the summer when the fountain is running. Now its a Pok√©mon hot spot. Love that.
  • This is art for people not usually into art. I really wish I could thank the people who gathered the works and designed the space. Wandering from place to place, sitting on the benches, catching a glimpse of some statue hidden in the trees, is all delightful. It is part of the English Garden in Assiniboine Park so a side trip is wise. It's notable how many children are there. Don't miss the bears ;) One quibble is the indoor gallery with smaller works by Leo Mol is not often open so if that is high on your list, check the times.
  • This sculpture garden use to be tranquil, pleasant and a nice place for photos. Like an outdoor art gallery in the middle of a very nice flower garden. Unfortunately, since the launch of Pokemon Go, it has become a hot spot of for people playing the game to loiter. It can be so busy it is difficult to walk through without bumping into people staring at their phones.
  • Assiniboine is the most beautiful park in all of Winnipeg according to me :). It has so many beautiful spots, the grounds are taken care of so well, so much pride has to be in each of the people who maintain it. The sculpture garden is relaxing with the sounds of the fountain coinciding beautifully with its natural nature friends.
