  • There are many things to see here. My kids had a blast and the staff there was terrific. The food was fantastic. It is certainly a must see!
  • I made my first trip to the Assiniboine Park Zoo since all the new construction and exhibits. Wow! It is really a world-class site. The Journey to Churchill is amazing. The Heavy Horse Center is a treat. The blending of the old and the new is wonderful.
  • Usually I don't like zoo much, but this one is really good for animals, they seems like to be in their natural habitat, like in safari parks) Arctic pavilion is really great! Also great indoor kids play area by the cafeteria. Worth buying an annual membership if you live in the Winnipeg area.
  • Very nice. Simple. Easy. Not cheap. Good to go for a day trip with the family. Polar bear exhibit is nice. They're always swimming about underwater. The indoor polar bear playground was fun too for the kid. It would be great if they had more "exotic" animals. They even got rid of the lions now... shipped off to England as breeding stock.
  • The exhibits were awesome. They put a lot of care to let the animals have their space while still making the animals pretty much visible. It is huge. Also I went when they had animatronic Dinosaurs. Definitely worth the trip. The Churchill exhibit alone is worth the price of admission.
  • Went here for a wedding... didn't know that you could book the the place for something like that... It was amazing. Food was great The servers were awesome. One of the bears showed up. Not to the wedding If that happened you would have heard about it on the news.
