This brewery has blossomed into a beautiful flower over the past few years. I wasn't really a fan of the original Walkerville, but under new ownership, the brand is flourishing. It can stand its ground when put up against other, more popular craft breweries. Walkerville also offers one thing that I love and very few breweries offer - 1 quart stubbies. If you can't drink a growler within a couple of days, the beer gets flat and looses its flavor, but the half-sized stubbies are perfect to keep the beer fresh for a couple of glasses. Forget the growlers, get stubbies!
Could use some more daring recipes. Very friendly staff. Environment is very unique.
Went there for a mid-day drink. The customer service was wonderful. Everyone in there was friendly, and a stranger even bought me a drink. This is the type of atmosphere that you want to walk into anywhere. The prices are fantastic on the draft drinks. I wish the brewery success. The beers aren't incredibly versatile but I can understand why they do it this way. Milk stout is a hidden gem. Honest Lager is safe, but a bit boring. No real complaints though.
Great local beer. Great venue. They need to up their game though. Smaller, poorer craft breweries are doing far better, and getting their beer sent out much farther. They often get excited when they release a special beer that doesn't even go with the season. I'm starting to get confused by this place. I gave it a 5 star originally, but had to edit. Please can and/or bottle more types of beer other than the standard lager, get out there and be somebody!!!
First time visit and found it surprisingly friendly, staff very informative and willing to engage in conversation about the beers brewed and also SPORTS. Very tasty brews loved the IPA, so much better than what's available on the Brewers Retail. Took home a freshly poured "Growler" of the IPA draft to drink while watching the hockey playoffs. Fresh beer no additives, the best.
