Beautiful, beautiful! If there is one thing you can say about Windsor, they know how to do gardens and parks. Set on the Canadian shore of the Detroit River across from Belle Isle Park, Detroit MI. During the summer (especially in the evening hours after dark) visitors can watch the floating fountain located just off shore. If you're luck you might even have the chance to watch/listen to an outdoor concert by the Windsor's Silver Ambassadors. :) Enjoy!
The prettiest gardens in Windsor. Fantastically maintained year round with nice walking trails and great views of the river, Belle Isle and downtown Detroit!
Great spot to picnic in the shade. Our son loves fishing there while our daughters love the fountain and little nooks of flowers.
Has anyone else had an encounter by a man from"Iraq" claiming to be a doctor with 3 daughters and a wife? Spent 20 mintues listening to him crack jokes and spin observational humor unprompted. Wondering if he is a regular in the park/windsor.
A wonderful scenic place, fresh air and flowers . Never a boring place to go.
