  • We had so much fun at Martock over our winter break. The mountain is nothing very challenging but everything fun for kids, teens and adults alike. We enjoyed spring skiing on machine-made granular sno...  more »
  • Given the weather in NS, Ski Martock is always trying to make your day enjoyable. Friendly staff and easy to get to from Metro.  more »
  • Martock is a great family friendly ski hill. It's not big and the trails are not too challenging. But it's such a friendly, sociable facility and is brilliantly maintained. All trails were open throug...  more »
  • Hills are okay for beginners, nothing special for seasoned hill-goers. Small hill with only 4 trails. Trails aren't taken care of and are mostly ice except for after storms, staff generally act like they don't want to be there. Guy at T-bar grabbed my poles out of my hand and threw them at the T-bar machine, breaking one and gave no reason why. Did the same thing to my friends too. We weren't the only ones either, buddy had 3 or 4 pairs of poles sitting in the dirt next to the machine every time we went up, different pairs every time. Food is overpriced, service is terrible. Most of the staff are a bunch of teenagers. Literally ski anywhere else.
  • Less than an hour from Halifax. Although it isn't the steepest hill in the world it was long enough to still enjoy. Went on a Monday night and got the 7-9 for $15 deal - hard to beat! If youre looking to satisfy the craving to get on the hill it's a great place to do that.
  • Great beginner hill. Most of the runs are flat and easy. They have a terrain park that they put a lot of work into each year. Hill can get a little boring if you are experienced but don't want to use the terrain park. They rely heavily on machine made snow, so it can get icey. Some of the runs have lights, for night skiing if you are into that.
  • Great goto ski hill only 40 minutes from Halifax. Wish it had more trails and was a bigger hill but it's better than nothing and has a lot of the same amenities as the bigger hills. Buy a season pass before June and get close to 50% off!
  • A great little hill for the family to play on. Awesome staff and a very fun snowboard park
