  • I took my car crazy 16 yr old here and he took more pictures than he took on our entire Yukon trip. We met an extremely nice gentleman who regaled us with stories and made the whole visit worthwhile.  more »
  • We spent a small amount of time here during our half day of Whitehorse attractions. I was intrigued by this subject and what the museum would hold. Quite the varied exhibits here. There's a large sect...  more »

  • This museum is really interesting. There is so much history and so many amazing people that have contributed toward the development of the Yukon and you can see how they did it and the machines they used. I liked the big road train outside, it must have been amazing to see it operating back in the day. The displays are well done and the machines are well restored, a credit to the museum. I would like to see it again one day. Souvenirs for sale there.
  • The is a wonderful museum. Truly a journey through time. The staff are incredible. There was one staffer named Janna who showed me around and was full of fascinating info on each piece in the museum. If you like all things motorized this is the place to be. I was like a kid in a candy store.
  • Interesting photo gallery and very good recreation o historic models.
  • No notice on their site or to anyone at the Visitor's Center that they were closed for a special event the only day a week that they are supposed to be open. We drove over 2000 miles to see this, but now will never get to see it.
  • Lots of cool exhibits and things to look at
