The Old Log Church Museum is one of the oldest buildings in Whitehorse, Yukon on its original site. The church was built in 1900 and the rectory behind was built in 1901, both by Reverend Richard Bowen. This was done at the behest of the Anglican Bishop Bompas who was concerned about the lack of a place of worship for the then-new community of "White Horse".

  • Efforts have been made to maintain the ambience of this old church. The interior is pleasant, but I think it needs something more to attract tourism.

  • The small museum shows the biographies of some amazing missionaries, who have tried to build a worthy contact the First Nations and it took incredible hardships on himself in the former Church.
