  • The Olympic Plaza was beautiful. A variety of shops all within walking distance and the views made the area worth visiting.
  • This square where are the Olympic arcs is very wooded and as I was in the autumn colors of the trees went from yellow to red, beautiful. It has a playground for children.

  • Visited the whistler olympic plaza on a tour and really enjoyed our visit. It's a beautiful area with lots of shopping options, hotels and restaurants. A lot of fun!

  • Lovely village. Heaps of various outlets. Variety of food outlets including pizza, coffee, some organic and vegan options. There is a neat kids playground. Lots of art & sculptures dotted around. It's nice to have a dander through and the museum and archive give an interesting history of how the village developed
  • Visited Whistler during my mom's and my boyfriend's birthday, last August. My parents stayed at the bottom while bf and I went on the gondola. After 8 years of living here in Canada I was finally able to ride the peak to peak gondola (never had the chance since no one had the time to drive me here nor can I drive). We also took a quick hike up to Fitzsimmons viewpoint. $56 (day pass for gondolas) for probably one of the most, if not the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen, definitely worth it. We had so much fun. ^^
  • Beautiful place with amazing scenery and experiences. Go there for the guided tours or just explore/participate in the activities and festivities! Essential things to bring: Camera(phone) Jacket/windbreaker - it gets chilly Lots of cash - stuff can be pretty expensive
  • ~Breathtaking views. ~Clean fresh air. ~More enjoyable in the summer. ~Awsome Ski resorts in the winter too. ~Enjoy the day events. ~Very vibrant at night too. ~Bring a wallet full of cash, or a credit card. Very easy to spend lots of money.
  • Don't get me wrong, Whistler is a beautiful place, but I expect smaller, local shops with unique products, not boring, overpriced, upscale, rich-people shops. If you want that kind of shopping, just stay in Vancouver. However, the art gallery is architecturally stunning.
