  • In this square there are several shops, cafés and some games for children, can be moved and in the afternoons there are activities for them like decorating cookies. It is worth visiting it because it is close to everything and can be walked.

  • Whistler is a cute, super busy village, with beautiful shops, delicious restaurants and ski station. In the winter there's not much to do if you're not skiing, since it is small and does not yield more than 4:00 of walk between walking the streets, eat, take pictures and see souvenir shops. It's beautiful in the winter with a lot of ice on the streets, they open a mini rink skating rink there in the square, free (but then you take your skates). The square is also where the Olympic arcs, recalling the Winter Olympics and 2010. It's good to check the weather before you go, because it was a beautiful day and a few days before a friend was a cold -16° c.

  • Just seeing the Olympic rings and the museum made it worth it worth the visit. There was a skating park for the families along with other shops to visit.  more »

  • Lovely village. Heaps of various outlets. Variety of food outlets including pizza, coffee, some organic and vegan options. There is a neat kids playground. Lots of art & sculptures dotted around. It's nice to have a dander through and the museum and archive give an interesting history of how the village developed
  • Visited Whistler during my mom's and my boyfriend's birthday, last August. My parents stayed at the bottom while bf and I went on the gondola. After 8 years of living here in Canada I was finally able to ride the peak to peak gondola (never had the chance since no one had the time to drive me here nor can I drive). We also took a quick hike up to Fitzsimmons viewpoint. $56 (day pass for gondolas) for probably one of the most, if not the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen, definitely worth it. We had so much fun. ^^
  • Beautiful place with amazing scenery and experiences. Go there for the guided tours or just explore/participate in the activities and festivities! Essential things to bring: Camera(phone) Jacket/windbreaker - it gets chilly Lots of cash - stuff can be pretty expensive
  • ~Breathtaking views. ~Clean fresh air. ~More enjoyable in the summer. ~Awsome Ski resorts in the winter too. ~Enjoy the day events. ~Very vibrant at night too. ~Bring a wallet full of cash, or a credit card. Very easy to spend lots of money.
  • Don't get me wrong, Whistler is a beautiful place, but I expect smaller, local shops with unique products, not boring, overpriced, upscale, rich-people shops. If you want that kind of shopping, just stay in Vancouver. However, the art gallery is architecturally stunning.
