A few years ago, this used to be free. Now, you need to pay $5 for each motorized vehicle. The attraction is worth it. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from Whistler. We have only visited during the...  more »

10 minutes from Whistler but it didn't look like they get crowds of visitors. We went looking for the summer bobsleigh but realised this was actually in Whistler. We did try the biathlon rifle shootin...  more »

Extremely well maintained cross country trails. Also a very well organized rental shop. I'd give an additional star if they had better rates. Hint - check Groupon for deals.

Great place to hang out for the day! Awesome snowshoeing trails, lots of cross country skiing, the lodge is great, tons of seating inside, lots of parking, good latte, toasty fire, plowed roads, no complaints at all!

Great facility with good restaurant. Nice locker room with shower. The xc skiing trails are fantastic as well. It's a good alternative to enjoy the snow when Whistler Blackcomb is a bit nutty.

Ran the Red Bull 400 here during the summer. It's a race/climb up the ski jump, and it's challenging... Good times!

World class cross country skiing and facilities. Meticulously maintained. Something for everyone.

Where to stay in Whistler

Whistler caters to guests with a wide selection of accommodations, although budget travelers might struggle to find more affordable options. If you visit Whistler during the ski season, stay in the southern section of town, closest to the main ski lifts. You can also beat the crowds of the town proper and stay farther south in Whistler Creek, where the shores of Alta Lake meet the Creekside gondola. It's worth booking early no matter what time of year you visit, as the town can get incredibly busy even during summer.
