The pool... the main one has three lanes designated to lane swimming so now you're left with half of an already small pool. The majority of this place is a kids wading pool. It would be good if you ha...  more »

Not the biggest community gym, but has everything you need. Friendly patrons, working in with people no issue at all when its busy. Easy to bike to with lots of places to lock up, or large parking lot...  more »

Once again we enjoyed the Meadow Park warm pool while visiting Whistler. The kids love the kiddie area with warm water, lots of pool toys, a small lazy river and whirlpool. Staff is excellent and frie...  more »

Great facilities and fairly well kept. Squash court 1 was nice, the 2nd court had a basketball hoop on the back wall which was distracting. The gym itself was great, lots of machines and all in great condition. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. $8.50 for admission is good for a drop in.

Good facilities which are affordable on club shred days. Would be nice to see affordable prices every day for locals.

Public showers and use of the pool and hot tub for a good price. Even better price at the right time of day.

This is the recreation centre in Whistler. The only problem is that the centre needs to be double the size. The swimming lanes in the pool are usually busy, so it is best to go from 9 am through to 1 pm when most are at work and the school kids are not there. The centre has its own website with loads of activities, It is a treasured resource in Whistler, and whenever you go there, you will always run into another local....and that is a good thing.

Very nice recreation facility (swimming pool, hockey rink, racquetball courts, etc. Our kids loved going there when they were young.

Where to stay in Whistler

Whistler caters to guests with a wide selection of accommodations, although budget travelers might struggle to find more affordable options. If you visit Whistler during the ski season, stay in the southern section of town, closest to the main ski lifts. You can also beat the crowds of the town proper and stay farther south in Whistler Creek, where the shores of Alta Lake meet the Creekside gondola. It's worth booking early no matter what time of year you visit, as the town can get incredibly busy even during summer.
