  • Rained all weekend, strong winds. Beautiful campground though. We will go back, hopefully nicer weather. Would be nice to have a beach area where dogs are allowed off leash. Large majority of people camping have dogs.
  • Excellent camping spot. Quiet, well treed lots. Lots of fantastic walking trails that are easily used with strollers. Playground is good for the young ones. No complaints for the entire time we were here. Was midweek.
  • Lake is gorgeous but I think it's very confusing showing signs going into park dogs are aloud but must be kept on leash and picked up after, of course right, common sense to most people! But very frustrating to get closer to beach area to see no dogs aloud period. I certainly don't understand the reason of that as I am a dog owner who would pick up after her... but I could understand if other people lack that common sense. But wish they would be more clear on the signs and on their website , especially for new people coming into the park
  • We've been here before and it was fine when it didn't rain. That's why I left a generous 3 stars because the bathrooms/showers are nice and the spots are fine (unless it rains). This time it rained a fair amount (which obviously isn't their fault) but our first campsite was severely flooded when we got there due to improper landscaping and our replacement spot had hardly any gravel and large ruts from previous trailer campers. Driving around I noticed most spots were lacking gravel and/or were rutted up. This turned our spot into a huge slimey mess which is the pits especially when tenting.
  • Noisy neighbor camper staying up and still talking 1am. I can hear their voices from inside the comfort camp. Politely ask them to lower down did not work well. Could not find a number to call to get it addressed.
