Park has nice features but age is showing. The newer shower/flush toilet facilities are well maintained and usually clean. The roads are in dire need of retopping. Perhaps it helps to keep speeders un...  more »

Great lake view sites in E loop with access to lake...some close to neighbours. Space for larger rigs in other loops. Go in early summer as blue-green algae takes over after stints of warm weather in ...  more »

Lake is gorgeous but I think it's very confusing showing signs going into park dogs are aloud but must be kept on leash and picked up after, of course right, common sense to most people! But very frustrating to get closer to beach area to see no dogs aloud period. I certainly don't understand the reason of that as I am a dog owner who would pick up after her... but I could understand if other people lack that common sense. But wish they would be more clear on the signs and on their website , especially for new people coming into the park

We've been here before and it was fine when it didn't rain. That's why I left a generous 3 stars because the bathrooms/showers are nice and the spots are fine (unless it rains). This time it rained a fair amount (which obviously isn't their fault) but our first campsite was severely flooded when we got there due to improper landscaping and our replacement spot had hardly any gravel and large ruts from previous trailer campers. Driving around I noticed most spots were lacking gravel and/or were rutted up. This turned our spot into a huge slimey mess which is the pits especially when tenting.

Noisy neighbor camper staying up and still talking 1am. I can hear their voices from inside the comfort camp. Politely ask them to lower down did not work well. Could not find a number to call to get it addressed.

Great camping, close to the lake, excellent facilities (showers building was brand new and very clean - $1 for a shower). We had a tenting site and the picnic table, fire pit, and tent pad were all in excellent repair. Not to closely packed with other campers and an easy walk along the beach.

Camped here during August long weekend. Sites are huge and very private with bushes. We had a site with electrical services and camped with a trailer. Lots of trails to walk and easy access to the beach. There was also a movie night in the park program while we were there. It would be nice if the beach had a dog friendly zone.
