  • This is a fun ski resort. It attracts the young, the old and everything in between. The grill restaurant is reasonably good. Food is tasty. Service could be better. Most importantly everyone that come...  more »
  • It is mountain is about 30 minutes from Capilano, I think it's hard to get public truck, I was in a rental car and parking is free, has spectacular Vancouver views go up by car. Lift prices are on the official website of the mountain. This very attractive and beautiful, is very large and has many tracks in several mountains. what I didn't like is that you can not buy your beer and walking through the complex, they do not let you out of the Bar with beer, and is not cheap. I recommend that you take your food and your drink. I bought in a supermarket of Capilano and we got all the food and we did not have any problem. I noticed that you can get your car get your ski team and to upload unless you check in the first lift... but because the lift higher if you ask. the place is very nice worth more than Grousse Mountain. There are more things to be done and is all together...

  • World Class snow boarding facility (2010 Winter Olympics). Lots of runs to pick from. The most expensive local Vancouver mountain but also has the most runs and the most to maintain. Also a great place to take your car up for a drive in the summer months.
  • Super cool ski area. Nice parcours. Open till 10 pm. Good to reach from vancouver downtown...
  • I worked here for one season, and must say the view is exceptional and the proximity from the city and nature makes it pleasurable. A truly unique lifestyle you have here.
  • Been there on Jan 2016 did snowboarding and falling in love with this place, it wasn't beautiful as whistler but I love the snow here and the way they organize trail, beginner, intermediate and expert. And all staffs are super friendly! !!! Go back this winter for sure!!
  • Cypress mountain is the best place from downtown to go snowboarding or skiing. The slopes are groomed to stay in good condition. If you ever forget some gloves they have a shop where you can buy them. Compared to grouse it's a lot more dedicated to the sports that go on there. It feels like there is more than twice as many slopes. The downside is that if you go there with the family and are planning not to take part in the sports you will find yourself with little to do. Grouse is stronger in this regard. The best time to arrive at Cypress is at 8am as the crowds don't arrive until around 2pm. This usually gives you entire slopes to yourself and friends.
