  • 1st day of the season, cars got stuck in snow, no help from the resort; 2 times we arrived early to enjoy the new snow and twice the lift did not start loading till at least 15 minutes after 9:00am and all early birds are stuck there waiting them to finish whatever they should finish before claimed opening time; charge each car $10 on supposed to be free parking area , and the area is getting bigger; no matter how busy the lifts are and how much they are delayed to open, they close a couple of lifts at 3 or 4 pm without considering the sunset time at Vancouver is almost 6pm; we were removed from the eating area because of some activities and when we came out of the dinning area, my daughter told me the reserved sign was not there when she took the spot. This definitely the worst service we received as season card holders and we are moving to other mountain for the next season.
  • Fun mountain close to Vancouver, so easy to make an afternoon or evening ski run. The lifts seemed reasonably fast, and the runs were fun. Don't expect Whistler, this is lower elevation and much smaller. The one gripe I have is the mess the parking lot can be. Was there with 5-10cm of fresh snow (lots of wind, so depth varied) and the was a layer of ice under that. So many stuck cars! Before you comment, yes, cars with good snow tires were stuck. It wasn't a high centering problem, it was an ice problem. The mountain needs to do something to either keep ice from forming, quickly remove it once it is formed, or help people out in the lot. In the end, people helped people, but lots of time was wasted both by people needing to get pushing help to get moving and by people waiting for cars stuck in the way to get moved. Just be careful in the lot.
  • The best slopes in the all of Vancouver that are always an amazing blast to go down. Unfortunately everyone else knows that too, it can get very busy during the day. I recommend going by for some well priced night skiing, it's especially affordable with a Downhill Gold Medal card.
  • If you want to experience racism, come to this mountain. I purchased 2 tickets in Feb 2018. I purchased one with a gold medal card and the other one out of pocket for my brother . My brother did not know how to put the pass properly around the metal bar that Clips into the jacket zipper and because of that one of the ski Patrol in charge of the security took him to the office. My brother tried to explain the situation but Izzy, was unwilling to listen to him kept interrupting him and he was unable to express his point of view. She kept telling him that he has to pay a $200 fine in addition they will call the police an escort us without one word from us. Things got escalated and I had to come to sort things out. The people in case are Lyon, Izzy and Dan all of which listened to our case with deaf ears. My brother and I are not Caucasian unlike the 3 people mentioned and there was a definite racial discrimination against us as no one listened 2 our point in case. My gold medal card was confiscated as well as my pass for the day. It's unfortunate because we were not the same skin tone, that what we said was meaningless and they wanted to call the police for no reason.
  • My daughter had her first ever skiing lesson as part of the the Pro D day program and she LOVED it! Her instructor Owen was amazing made the whole day super fun. She can't wait for her next lesson
