Winery / Vineyard Food & Drink
Sample some of the fine produce of Quails' Gate Winery, a winery open for tours and tastings. Founded by the Stewarts, one of the region's pioneer horticultural families, the first vintage was made in 1989, with the site developing over time to include more land and processing areas, a restaurant, and tasting rooms. Drop in for a tasting experience at the bar, or arrange a guided tour of the vineyards and production areas to learn about the family's methods, history, and the future of their range. Put Quails' Gate Winery and other West Kelowna attractions into our West Kelowna itinerary planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • One of my favourite wineries in the Okanagan, a family run business with a wine cellar that is second to none and customer srevice to match. I must also mention the best restaurant in west Kelowna (Ol...  more »

  • Stunning spot, no doubt. My boyfriend and I roamed around the beautiful property and wanted to have a glass of wine but couldn't seem to find a server? We waited in the "to be seated" area but no luck. It could very well have been closed but there were people around and no one really approached us to let us know either way. I'd still give it a try again as I've heard a lot of positive things about this place!
  • Beautiful scenery and grounds! BUT... saddens me to say this..,, Very limited menu for lunch and horrible experience wine tasting! We do a ton of wine tastings across North America and this place is so cheap!!! Charge $5 for 3 small tastings then demand you purchase 2 bottles per person to get your $5 back. I'm not a cheap guy but the samples are very small and that's not how to build a new customer! Now I know how they pay for such a nice place!! You want a real wine-tasting experience... go to Silver Sage Winery in Oliver!! Now THAT is how to build a new customer! We bought a full case there!!
  • Favourite place to go for a romantic dinner. Love their Gnocchi, every wine I've tried (especially the 2011 Foch we had this time) and as well the sourdough to start! Our server even gave us wine glass covers to keep any bugs out of our drinks!! We will be back for sure :)
  • This place is one of the more picturesque wineries in the area. The complimentary wines weren't all that tasty. But the wine that we had at the bistro with dinner was delicious. We had clams for appetizers which was mouth-watering. The trout was good but the halibut was quite bland.
  • I went there for wine tasting with a big group, and they were pretty nice about accommodating us! That being said, the wines we tried were all pretty sour, and unlike most wineries around here, you have to buy two bottles to waive the tasting fee instead of one. We had a better time next door at the Hatch.
