  • A great campground ( if you can get in). Lots of sites and right on Okanagan Lake. It is a provincial park, so although the majority of sights do not have any hookups, they are building new sites this...  more »

  • We have been coming to this incredible park every year since Park opened in the 70'S. Pat and his staff make this a first rate spectacular park. This is one park that nature never allows to stay the same. Winds, rain, sun, floods and fires change the shoreline and the creek constantly. We regularly occupy a site twice a year since the park was born and love to explore the new things mother nature has handed out since each last visit. This spring she decided to completely rearrange the mouth of the creek. There will be a few new beach islands there this summer. Can't wait! In spring 2018 campsites with hookups have been added, several have nice lake views! This a great place to have some summer rest and play.
  • Nice park, nice play ground, and so close Kelowna, you are away but if you forget anything you are no more than 15 min away from shopping. Which makes it tough to get into. They also added power sites into this park, though I have not seen them yet to see how they effected parking in the overflow.
  • Camped in a 35” motorhome. We are self contained so cannot comment on restrooms/shower facilities. Stayed in site #16. Pros – - Site was level and pretty spacious - Lots of trees and shade - Great location to explore Kelowna, pick cherries, kayak lake, go wine or cider tasting and bike over the trestle at Myra Canyon Trestles. Cons – - Pretty crowded in summer but the lake is so huge if you kayak you wont be crowded - No hookups so no AC in the hot summer
  • Great little camping spot or place for locals to go for a swim or launch a canoe or walk the dog. Well spaced campsites, some with lakefront. Beautiful hiking right across Westside Road up the Bear Creek Trail…waterfall and 750 Million Year geology.
  • Well maintained trails, beautiful views. Lots of stars and up and down variety. The creek and waterfalls and beautiful and helpful on hot days! Fairly short hike.
