  • This is a good 45 minute hike if you hustle. Lots of stairs and great views of the Okanogan lake and the city! Nice waterfall view in middle of hike. Well marked trail, stay on the paths.  more »

  • Good for city slickers but not for quality camping. Overall rating (close to 5) is not an accurate reflection of the quality of camping experience. See below for pro's / con's: Pro's - clean site, many workers during the day to execute work, sites appear to have new gravel, great access to the parks own green space, picnic tables, large water access / gravel beach. about 10-15 minutes away from west Kelowna / grocery store / shoppers drug mart. Sani dump across the street. Con's - Sites a very close together, although for how close they are they did a good job with brush there is very little privacy, road that runs by is above and next to a hillside to vehicles (many loud) can be heard in the entire campground at all hours. I'd consider this a higher probability (my own opinion here) for a chance of less considerate neighbors in the campground i.e. loud, abundance of generators, booming stereos. No service hook ups (no power / no sewer) Conclusion - If you are traveling FROM out of town and looking for a true camping experience I recommend a site farther away from town. If you are looking for a convenient location while visiting Kelowna - this would serve well. while the site is well run, its in the highest rate for the provincial parks and "full service" doesn't refer to power or sewer on your site (there is none) . I could see this being a convenient outdoors experience only minutes away for some who live in Kelowna.
  • Loved this place! Went for a hike with the family and really loved the view! Also loved the clean trails! If your looking for something that is going to give you some great exercise and beautiful scenery I would definitely recommend this place! Great trail for kids 5yrs and older as well dogs!
  • Beautiful spot. Amazing views. You can rent kayaks. Nice swimming area....rocky but most of Okanogan Lake is like that. Clean. Provides shade and sun for whatever you prefer!
  • Great park for camping, got the best campsite there with the private beach and it was great.
  • Great sites, nice beach, and the park staff are friendly. Bathrooms could be cleaned a little better, I always use flip flops and try to avoid touching the walls and shower curtain. I would like to see the walls and ceiling swept to prevent spiders from hanging out. On the other hand, it can make a boring shower more interesting when standing next to a funnel spider!
