  • We stayed at the hotel and had 50% discount on the price of the entry, or nearly $ 14 still. It is a micro Museum, all yours in a round room which must be less than 100 m 2 collection is tiny and very few antiques, many of the 1980/90s without interest the person at the reception was friendly but absolutely not competent and in training was what we understood. Except that there is no trainer, and so person to tell us that with $ 2 more it was entitled to the guided tour, with access to the reconstructed long House that can even see in the price of the tour. In short a very bad experience.

  • Recommendation for the speakers. Inform is with time when are them tours and explanations in English, since in this zone predominates the French and is easy that the visits in English vary of schema. Touched us change 2 times the time of talk, to match it with a group of hikers from USA. Otherwise the Museum is fine, though it is relatively small. It gives you a historical view of the Wendat (Huron) nation throughout history and its relationship with the Western world. A part of the Museum is outside and is perhaps the most fun for children.

  • Certainly that in high season there is an interest to spend a day in the village, however off-season as in the month of October, only museum justifies moving as long as people take advantage of the knowledge of a Huron guide. The buildings in the village are identical to those that we see elsewhere (so without interest). When we ask what time held dances and local presentations, nobody is able to say clearly what can happen. So the Museum = Yes, but the rest do not think see great thing off season. There is a serious lack of organization and marketing to the hotels in the area.
