  • The museum contains a vast array of traditional things from the Huron. I only went through it quickly. But, the hotel that it attaches too is designed like a long house of the ancestors. There is also...  more »
  • What pleasant surprise, a total amazement! We stayed, dinner and also went to eat at "brunch" of the first nations hotel-Museum. Experience frankly beyond our expectations. The restaurant the Treaty table is a treat for the eye and the taste buds. From surprise to surprise, we sipped with great pleasure all refined and searched this impeccable table dishes. The presentation is beautiful and the tastes of dishes is a unique experience. The spices are a discovered because we use herbs typical Huron meals. New flavours are presented to us for our enjoyment. The symbiosis of the ingredients is just perfect! Although I had frequently heard this excellent table by restoring people, especially leaders and that I am a regular of the good table, I wasn't expecting was such a wonder. Hat! In addition, the service was impeccable and attentive too. Add to this the touch of humor and professionalism of the Butler, here you have the absolute winning combination! Our room located near the spa, on the river side, afforded a soothing view. This last simple decoration, combining modernity and artistic touch of first nations charmed us. Here, there would be a little more to add, but I really do my perfectionist. Let's try a suite next time. For what is the brunch which already has a reputation of excellence, once again, bravo! Explosive flavors, variety and quality. The spa after a day of skiing, magic! Peace and be well assured. A little cocoon of happiness and peace of mind in the forest. Finally, all of this in a bucolic and peaceful, setting the atmosphere is unique and very pleasant. A big thank you to the warm, friendly and professional team as the place. I highly recommend! An amazing value for money and more. We liked it so, we are going back in a few days! In two words; unsuspected and amazing. That's what was our experience. Try now here. The pleasure!

  • I wanted to bring my young family and my English husband see the long House. We couldn't access it without the tour so we took it. We had to "wait" over an hour to access the site. I say wait because the guide was not energetic and the visit was not interactive, even if there were a large number of children. Made outside the guide continued his speech in the pouring rain (winter) for almost 10 minutes despite the large number of children, people without umbrellas and babies. He has failed to adapt to the group type and weather conditions so several people left before the end of the visit. The space to move in the Longhouse is also limited so again once we had to listen to in a circle after nearly an hour and a half without interaction. The cost of the tour is very expensive for the number of things to see and the guide was not interesting. There should be free visits to the long House since it is neither suited to families or to anglophones...
