  • The County Cider Company welcomed us in with their signage, but then shortly after leaving the parking lot and finding their vintage truck, a staff member called out – “Hey it’s not busy today – can I take that picture for you?” - what a great start. The two-stage tasting process seemed complicated up front but was actually super informative and way less stressful with crowds flowing in, and we got two personalities to walk us through their exquisite ciders. To say the Pear cider (pear and vanilla) is a delightful experience should literally define that term, and the Blood Orange and Vanilla is as close to orange popsicles as I can remember. Their crisp Tortured Path cider was crisp, tannin-filled and yet tasty all at the same time, and the rest of their crop just improved on that start. The County Peach can only be described as addictive, and County Feral – with cranberry and raspberry notes – I hope will become part of their regular line. I can see using it in recipes on a regular basis. The staff were delightful and the grounds immaculate. Don’t hesitate – just go here.
  • We really wanted to love this place but it fell very short of our expectations. We saw a recommendation online to check out the pizza here so we travelled out to Waupoos to check it out. We were seated and eventually our waitress came to take our order, I asked her if the pizzas were sized to share and she said they were individual sized. Heads up, for myself and my husband, one $20 pizza is plenty to share. We ordered 2 pizzas thinking they were going to be small? They were equivalent to a chain pizza joint medium/ large. I ordered the “three cheese pesto pizza” straight from the menu. It came with zero pesto on it? The service was so slow that I ended up eating 2 pieces before even having a chance to say something to the waitress. The service was very slow so after about 3 wait staff came by the table we asked for the bill. The waitress brought the to- go box with an open container of pesto in it?? Just feel that if you’re going to charge premium prices for “premium pizza” you should be including the ingredients you are advertising.
  • Beautiful scenery! Wonderful pizzas! Washed down the pizzas with tasty cider. Tried the flute and sampled four types of cider. Worth a visit if in the area.
  • Man, what a view. Delicious pizza, tasty cider. My GPS took us to the wrong place, a farmer's field in the middle of nowhere. Happy we were able to figure it out eventually
  • The staff cheerful, friendly and enthusiastic. I liked the different ciders on offer there. Beautiful location! I'd say it's definitely worth a visit if you are going to this part of the country.
