  • We were very fortunate to have visited the park before the terrible wildfires. The views from Bears Hump are beautiful and hopefully the trail can be restored in the future.  more »

  • A short 30-45 minute hike with a beautiful view of the town and lake. Great for casual hikers as it is quick. Even experienced outdoors people, shouldn't write this hike off as the view is very rewarding compared to the time investment.
  • Quite a steep climb for any inexperienced hikers, but can reach the top in about 30-60 minutes depending on pace, weather etc. May not seem like much but the view once you reach the top is incredible and absolutely rewarding.
  • A must do hike. A great quick uphill for a quick cardio session. Good view down the lake.
  • Strenuous climb. About 30-40 minutes but totally worth it. Fantastic view.
  • If there's one hike you have to do while you're at Waterton, it's Bears Hump. The incline is about 90 degrees, but it's pretty short, so you hardly notice it. The view from the top is absolutely spectacular. It's a great introduction to the area or a great spot to go for nostalgia a hundred visits later.
