  • If you want great views and a short hike, Bears Hump is a short hike with great rewards. A great way to start a Waterton visit.  more »
  • This is a great hike with incredible views of the valley. Very close to downtown, so you can park in the townsite and complete the hike. A nice way to spend a couple of hours.  more »
  • can't go wrong! Waterton is as beautiful as Banff/Canmore. It does take stamina to get up there, though.  more »

  • If there's one hike you have to do while you're at Waterton, it's Bears Hump. The incline is about 90 degrees, but it's pretty short, so you hardly notice it. The view from the top is absolutely spectacular. It's a great introduction to the area or a great spot to go for nostalgia a hundred visits later.
  • May not be a long hike, but it is steep. The view is the best there is of the town of Waterton.
  • Amazing view at the top! Worth the hike up to it!
  • Hard climb but the view...! Recommended!!
  • Short, steep hike up. The view can't be beat.
