The longest freshwater beach in the world, Wasaga Beach Provincial Parks offers recreational opportunities year-round. Take a relaxing walk along the Nottawasaga river beach, divided into eight sections, and enjoy the view of the Niagara escarpment across the river bay. In summer you can swim in the clear river water, sunbathe, or hike one of the surrounding scenic trails. When it snows, the park becomes a popular spot for skiing and snowmobiling along the tracks. • Best place to live! I've moved here from the crazy concrete retail world of the city to a beautiful home here at Wasaga Beach, where the beach scenery at any time of the day or night, is out of this world! Collingwood provides us with great restaurants and shops and Blue Mountian showers us with a winter wonderland of adventure and fun. Wasaga Beach is the upcoming best places to live for families of all ages and it's not just the best and longest fresh water beaches in the world but a community of values and fun for all ages. Best move our family has ever made!
  • Awesome beach. Main Beach can be crowded on weekends and holidays. Go early on week days you have lots of choice where to sun yourself. Food, beverages available. Shopping availability. Kayak rentals, paddle board rentals available at main Beach.
  • I was there on a regular weekend Saturday. All the parking lots around the beach were full (you find it after going through every parking stall they have; they don't bother telling you that it's all taken) even if you want to pay $15/20 they usually ask for (which is retarded). Finally, I went across the bridge and found $7 parking at Main St & Beck St. The beach full of people, almost impossible to find a place to even put your stuffs behind. However, once you go inside the beach, you forget everything, the whole crowd seems scattered all of a sudden. They have good waves there and warm water (if you go there on a fairly hot day) Visited July 2016
  • A winter visit - awesome dunes and ice.
  • It was our first time going to the temporary dog beach with our dachshund and we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean and everyone was very friendly. If you are looking for a good spot, go early it gets really busy
