  • It's in the middle of nowhere, but well worth going off the well worn path to visit this lighthouse. The road in to the site is bad, but this historic building makes for some great photo opportunities...  more »
  • A group of coworkers and I went to the Walton lighthouse after attending an all day business meeting. We parked and took a nice stroll out to the lighthouse and enjoyed the evening views and saltwater...  more »
  • A lovely little lighthouse in the tiny village of Walton. It is no longer in use, that is why you can climb to the top - just remember to climb down the way you climbed up, ladder=like, 3 flights up! ...  more »

  • Picnic tables for taking a break. Great views, small walking path to lookout. Sometimes there is a little food cart/truck there. Gift shop for souvenirs.
  • Cute little stop with a knowledgeable volunteer talking about the history. Steep short steps up. Our dog went up but needed a ride down.
  • Parking space is limited especially in prime tourist season. The lighthouse is open to the public and full of historical information pertaining to the area. It's a good spot for a short visit but not much else of interest is nearby.
  • Cute little lighthouse. Nice hiking trail along cliff. Interesting exhibits about local history, including barite and gypsum mining. Two nearby silos were used to store barite prior to shipping.
  • A nice fun little place to visit. If you need to stretch your legs I would suggest this place.
