  • Loved the fact that we were brought from orchard to orchard by a tractor towing seats (my nephew thought it was a train and loved it!) We had a picnic in one of the orchards and were able to shelter u...  read more »

  • This is our second year in a row picking cherries here. The prices are reasonable and the Cherries are sweet. You really have to search for the best trees here as some trees have bland cherries while ...  read more »
  • Amazing place . It's perfect for a date. It's $5 a person and they deduct the fee when you check out with your cherries. It's an amazing experience and the truck ride to the farm is so much fun. If you are going on a hot day, make sure you are well prepared. If you have a chance, buy their blueberry honey. It's the best honey I have tasted ever!
  • What a Peachy day we had!! We picked peaches and nectarines at Cherry Avenue Farm for the first time, what an experience we had from being welcomed by the young fellow who explained everything to us, to our driver who took us to the orchard and a friendly wave goodbye as we left in our car. Fabulous! We couln't believe how many peaches were on the trees, my grandson loved the stools in the orchard for him to reach the branches. An amazing farm, can't wait for the pears!!! It is worth the drive from Pickering. Thanks
  • Visited the park in July and found plenty of fresh cherries. Kids can get the fun ride free. The ticket was $5 for adults that are deductible from the total when you buy the cherries that you pick. Some peach trees there too. Many staircase or stools/ladders are available. Their boxes could tip over so be careful when they have cherries. On site washrooms available. As such no bbq or picnicking allowed but you can eat anywhere as far as you cleanup afterwards. They do accept debit cards.
  • A Canadian friend of mine said that fruit picking is one of the top summer activities in Canada and being here at this farm was all I needed to prove this claim. We arrived on a lazy Tuesday afternoon and the place was surprisingly busy. After paying the 'entrance' fee, we were given individual boxes as containers and then led to the farm to pick as much cherries as we could. The previous weekend's barrage of visitors left us with fewer trees to pick cherries from but we still managed to fill half our boxes. The cherries were sweet and I did not mind eating directly from the tree. Overall, a nice experience.
  • I had so much fun picking peaches at the farm here. There's a small admission fee and you pay by the pound for the peaches that you pick. The admission fee is then deducted from your final total at the end. Kids and pets are allowed! How wonderful. There's a tractor that comes frequently and drives you to the farm where you can pick peaches and nectarines. I'm not sure about other fruits because I really just wanted peaches. They were lots of peach trees and the peaches were delicious. When you're done, and they don't specify time that you have to return, just hop back on the tractor and they will drive you back to the main area where you will pay for your peaches. There's a picnic section so I spent some time there eating lunch an peaches. Bring lots of water because there's not a lot of shade.
