Beautiful, easy walk around the upper and lower lake! Is super nice that before June 1 you can have your dog off leash in all areas. After that they are not allowed on main beach and picnic area until Oct 1. Our dog loves to swim and be in nature and this was a great place for him to unwind from the stress of being dragged on a road trip to the "City".
Just breathtaking. The park is gorgeous tall trees and beautiful lakes. There are some steep path ways but manageable. I am not the fittest but it's well worth the sore legs to see the views.
Very quiet. Evenings are awesome because so few people are there. Great to get away.
Water is always warm during the summer and lots of fun for everyone to enjoy. Diving off the cliffs and the park is dog friendly
Love swimming here! Great place for groups and even dates. Bring some runners in case you want to go elsewhere than the main beach
