  • Very pretty campus with lots of green space and walking areas, mediocre food for the price, gym is fine but expensive if you want more then the base available, profs are hit and miss. Some are outstanding, others shouldn't be teaching and self admit they don't like it. Overall, it's an okay school that did it's job. But I've had better post-secondary experiences and usefulness elsewhere.
  • The time I was there, I had a lot of fun. People are super friendly and classes were entertaining. However, after attending a bigger school, i have realized that uvic is more socially focused rather than academia focused. Which I think if you do want to succeed socially and have lots of fun , it is ideal. I also loved the campus, small and beautiful. The waffle fries is freaking delish.
  • Nice campus, nice professors, horrible administration. The administration kills this beautiful setting. I'm so sad that I have a degree from this university.
  • Uvic has one of the most amazing and down to earth staff who will respond to you even when they are out of office,Can't wait to join this beautiful University for my post graduate studies.
  • Do not come here if you have kids. UBC, SFU etc. have better services for students with children.
