Need groceries? This store has just about anything you need. Very friendly clerks guide you to what you need. Very reasonable prices. Fresh fruit was truly fresh. Nice to have a market in town.  more »

Walking distance from downtown venue, the venue is also close to the... Venue in toilet in stateroom number for side by side too much, didn't wait. Staff is super friendly.

I must say the Save on Foods centre isnt a well designed facility. Love the local hockey team. Not much food selection , parking as next to none. Transit here isn not great.  more »

Lots of fun events here. Parking can be a pain but the entertainment is always worth it. Close to good restaurants for pre or post event food

I've been to this location 2 times for comedian performances. Food is grossly overpriced but what performance food vending places don't price gouge? Lost 1 star for floor seating. The chairs are locked together and we are sitting so close to the next person you would think everyone has a close and personal relationship. Now, NOT many people are the perfect 130 lbs at 5"5' so, my seat is usually half over taken from the man or lady seated next to me and I am usually half in my boyfriends lap trying to avoid having a stranger in mine. Considering the prices the tickets cost you would think they could afford a more comfortable space accomodating seat for the floor. I'm not asking for a recliner, just some room to breathe ;)

Everything about this place is fine except for the concession. For a publicly funded venue it would be decent if they supported local breweries since we have in my opinion some of the best in the pacific northwest. I'll buy one at start of hockey game but they're so god awful i can't bring myself to buy a second especially at $8.50... And I'm not seeing sold out Royals games when i go so i don't know where they get the idea to charge big city prices.

I go to hockey games and concerts here. Easy access. Clean washrooms. Parking is a problem. Very limited parking. I usually take a taxi because of this.

Where to stay in Victoria

The curling waterfront Wharf Street, which becomes Store Street, offers the best selection of lodgings in the city center, although you can expect to pay extra for the trademark views. Many travelers opt to stay in the neighborhood of James Bay, where Belleville Street and surrounds provide comfortable and even luxurious options. For something more relaxed and closer to nature, look south to the expansive Beacon Hill Park.
