  • That is what I call a bookstore. Friendly staff, this is the kind of a jungle I like to be lost in. Prepare to buy more. Pure heaven!

  • This is the most amazing bookstore I have ever been to. I always bring people here when they visit Victoria- on return trips they request it. The staff are great and the selection is incredible!
  • Best damn book store you are going to find. It took them a while to modernize their system to be digital but now that it is... WHOA. The staff are amazing and the owners are super friendly, community minded people.
  • Great store! Their sister store 'Books on View' is also amazing with a great selection of all the books you never knew you wanted!
  • Best used bookstore in Victoria without a doubt, with great staff and great selection. There's so much volume, they need 3 large floors to display it. I'd like to have offered 5 stars, but my one hesitation to do so stemmed from the simple fact that the only one book I found from my extensive used-bookstore-wishlist was priced too high for my liking. Too often, I'm afraid, some used bookstores get big simply because their prices are so prohibitively high that people buy less.
  • Spent 20 minutes in the store the other day. I was greeted by staff 5 times. That is an interruption once every 4 minutes. I think they have a great selection of books. I did not have a chance to look around much because the staff kept greeting me. I managed to find something to purchase in my 4 minute window but when I took it to the cashier the friendly demeanor had vanished. It kind of made me feel that once Russell Books had my money they were no longer interested in me. :-(
