  • Oh. It must be coming up on three years. I think it might be done by 2020. Once it is done, I thinking it will be stellar. In fairness though, I gather there have been some 'steel' issues from oversea...  more »

  • Victoria is a beautiful little Island city. It is old and proud. When I was first getting to know the city I was introduced to the bridge and was saddened to see something so (ahem) ugly. Sorry folks, it needs to be replaced. This is another example of something that we will (hopefully) all grow to love one day.
  • How does one rate a bridge? On each crossing, I have successfully reached the other side. It sometimes goes up, and each time goes back down. Also pleasantly troll-free.
  • Great view of the harbor and a very interesting cantilevered bridge. A giant cement counter-weight balances the weight of the bridge when opening.
  • A fine old bridge at the end of its life. Locals call it the blue bridge.
  • Carful on you bike. Beautiful view of downtown from here
