  • Best place in Victoria to fly a kite - windsurfers love it too! A drive along Dallas Drive and Beach Drive is not complete without a stop at Clover Point. Beautiful ocean views. Great place to walk.

  • Views, clear roads and a fresh ocean breeze. If you're down town this makes for a rad spot for a picnic. Just look around the beaches in the area for a sheltered area! If you fly kites, the fields here are ideal, but it can get fairly strong. For children, sometimes Beacon Hill Park by the flag pole is best.
  • Here, it's all about the sea meeting the sky, and the view of the mountains. To put it simply: there's the park up above, where you park your car( if you drove )and the beach below. In between is what you do when you're there. Located along Dallas road, Clover Point Park is a great place to just relax and take in the sights that only Victoria can offer: the Olympic Mountains to the south, across the rolling waves of the ocean. It's truly breathtaking to see, a unique view unlike most any other in the world, where you might spot seals or whales at play just off the shore. Speaking of shore, there's a vast length of beach to explore, with plenty of places to relax, though you'll want sun protection in the summertime as there's no shade. At Clover Point itself, the beach is about thirty feet down from the top of the park, but it's an easy climb at numerous points. Events and festivals love the park. One of the best is the Victoria International Kite Festival that takes place in May of every year: the skies are FULL of kites of every description and colour imaginable! For the latest on what's going on, I suggest checking out one of Victoria's numerous Events pages or websites to see what's happening. Or, just go down and enjoy the park: it's the perfect way to appreciate how lucky Victoria is to be so close to nature in all its glory.
  • One of my favourite pit stops while biking. A serene spot to stop and breathe in the ocean air.
  • Great vistas. Good strolling. Off lease dog park. Pretty dogs. Lots-o-driftwood on the beach.
  • The picture sums it up. It is one of my dog's favourite place. And thus it is one of our favourite place. Enough to convince you to bring your dog here and let him/her loose?
