We went to the store on the weekend and it's finally closed down. Time to stay good-bye for the last time. It's sad to see it go!

Trying to figure out if this location is open or closed? Continuing to walk past and it never seems to open for business.
I love this store. The owner is a delight and brings me back to my days in Germany!
Christmas Village is again open for business. What a delightful place this is; there is so very much to look at. Many of the items also have sale price tags attached. My wife and I always enjoy this shop, as it's the only one of it's kind we have found. I highly recommend a visit; this is a "must see" shop!
My review won't agree with the rest of the bad reviews, quite possibly because the male shop owner wasn't present. I walked into the store ready to have to deal with some harshness, but whatever we like buying local ornaments when we travel. Yes there are a lot of signs telling you what not to do. But beyond that everyone in store was pleasant, I carried a coffee into the store even though the sign said no food or drink, nicely asked if I could leave it on the front counter and the nice lady said "sure." Found what we wanted, checked out and while the cashier was giving me my change a coin dropped and fractured the ornament. Long story short, the let me keep the broken one, since it was the last one of a locally made one, and gave me a new different locally made one to make up for it, and were even insisting on refunding the difference, which I refused. TL;DR the two ladies working there are nice, maybe the dude doesn't work there anymore, and as of 3/28/15 they were having a "retirement" sale and everything was 50% off.
This store is the worst!! I was so excited to be walking down the street & see a Christmas store! As you walk in you are bombarded by like 50 signs telling you what NOT to do....it was the weirdest thing. And don't even think about taking a picture or you will be kicked out by a crazy old man! no joke! I was tempted to break something just to spite him! I would never make a purchase at this store no matter how cool it was! I really don't even understand how this place is even in business!

I sent this email to the store email I found online- no idea if anyone has seen it as I haven't yet gotten a reply. After reading the above reviews, I don't expect to. I guess I must have found the Christmas Nazi in all his glory... My mother arrives in Vic in a few days and will undoubtedly want to visit this store where she would have bought endless gifts for friends and families, I won't be letting her through the door which she'd undoubtedly be rudely escorted back through within moments upon mocking the ridiculous rules that line every spare inch of space throughout the 1/3 of the storefront I was permitted to view. How are these people still in business?! The email: Hello, I've just left your store with my father. I have never been so rudely treated by someone working in a retail store ever- let alone in one so incredibly infamous for its mirth and cheer. I was crossing from one section into another in search of the perfect present for my mother, Christmas' second biggest fan after you folks, and was scolded, reprimanded and told to "get the hell out". I was completely confused and caught off guard, to say nothing of my embarrassment and the offense I took. I collected my father and we turned on heel and left as requested. Once outside I could hear music was emanating from my pocket- I suspect this is what the gentleman who treated me thus had heard, as it was in a low pocket and I heard nothing. My phone is badly broken and had apparently begun to play. A simple mention of this would have seen me turn it off and apologize profusely. Instead, you've lost three customers visiting Victoria from Atlantic Canada to take in the holiday spirit we've heard lives here- and have sadly found instead hostility in this staff member of your store. I wish you and yours a happy holidays and hope no others step on this gentleman's unforgiving toes leading closer to Christmas Eve.
