  • We took the free tour of the Parliament Buildings and enjoyed it very much. The interior of these magnificent buildings is beautiful, and you can see straight up into the cupola. We got to look into the government chambers, and some historical characters popped up to tell us their stories. The tour was more fun and interesting that I was expecting and I'm glad I took it.
  • Once U R there, u r lost in splendour and opulence of the place. You not only marvel at the ingenuity and constructive approach of human being but also feel humbled at kindnesses of God who bestows on us, the earthy creatures, abilities to put such heavenly structures on earth. The lady, really recreates the “ Era”. A week heart can’t help falling in love with her manners, mannerism and demeanour!!
  • The centre piece of the inner harbour is a Francis Rattenbury design built in the 1900's. Full of beautiful designs and art work, this historical building is a delight to tour through. They offer free tours, guided and self guided, during the day.
  • This is a beautiful building and a real piece of history for Victoria. There are free tours that one can take of the inside of this building. One can also obtain a pass at security at the front to go to the legislative dining room. It is a pleasant place to have a cup of tea and a cinnamon roll or a meal. Don't forget to walk around the outside of this building to see all of the amazing features including columns, a fountain, and to look up to see all of the amazing materials that went into this grand building.
  • Really enjoyable visit here. We did the self guided tour. You pick up a free guide book and can wander through the public areas at your leisure. Lots of interesting information is provided throughout and you get to see the actual assembly. The politicians were absent during our visit. There is a security check on the way in a I had foolishly brought a backpack with a picnic. I had a butter knife in my pack.I informed the security person before he scanned the bag. This being Canada he scanned the bag his colleague thanked me for letting them know and asked me to ensure that it was not taken out during my visit. I love this country! Sensible people with a friendly outlook on life.
