  • We arrived between guided tours so went on a self guided tour. Allow about an hour. It is a unique and beautiful building. We were able to go in and observe a Commonwealth session in action. Do check ...  more »
  • You can either take a self-guided tour or wander around on your own which is really nice. My husband and I just walked around by ourselves and looked at all the wonderful "artifacts" and read a lot ab...  more »
  • Very nice to visit during the day and especially at night when it's all lit up. Is one of the tourist attractions of Victoria that can only be seen.

  • I'm not a huge political buff but I do love and appreciate historical buildings. Got to do a FREE 30 mins tour during BC Day and the inside (and outside) is so beautiful. The guide we had was awesome too! Lots of people taking photos of the front, but don't forget the back (library side) which I think was my favourite part of the external features... And there's less people around too!
  • I won't be exaggerating when I say that it's the most beautiful building in BC. It's massive and incredible to look at. The night view is stunning as well. Not much to do inside, but it's worth a quick look.
  • I highly recommend the free tour of the building. It is historical and fun! I've been to many tours and this one really stood out to me because of my guides' energy and an interesting twist during the tour.
  • Iconic Europeanish building in Western Canada...hardly find such looking buildings on the west cost. Really nice harbour view from here, most popular place to be during the summer with flowers blooming all around and touristy feel, quiet different vibe from Vancouver.
  • Really cool building. Great history. A wonderful place to learn about our lovely neighbors to the north.
