  • Worth a look. Spent about 1/2 hour here self guided. There were guided tours available but not starting at the time we arrived - caught the end of one which seemed interesting. Loved the current exhibition of their history of women in politics, surprisingly moving & some very inspiring facts there - would love to have seen more in depth information.
  • 'THE' place to be if you come to the capital city of Beautiful British Columbia ☺. The Legislature is in the heart of the inner harbor. Wheelchair accessible. Guided tours. Great photo opportunities.
  • In the front of the legislative buildings stands this huge Sequoia tree which stands 30 meters or 100 ft tall. Planted in the 1800. Commonly referred to a Coastal Redwood, the tree grows an average of 1 foot per year. The tree is statement that Victoria is in a rain forest country.
  • Go ahead and take the free guided tour. It's a great way to see these beautiful and historic building. They offer a variety of languages in the summer and each tour lasts about 30 minutes.
  • Always enjoyed the outside, particularly lit up at night. Recently explored inside. It's absolutely beautiful.
