  • Quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful view from the Tea House. A hidden gem!
  • Had the special Canada 150 tea and platter, and every single thing I tried was delicious. The dragonwell green tea is very nice.
  • Beautiful little garden. Unique and with a romantic history. Tea service available. Bathroom available.
  • This was our third visit to the Abkhazi Gardens and Tea room. Even though it is a cooler Spring and flowers are not as far along as usual, you get a different perspective on the gardens. The exhibit of sculptured dresses in the gardens, based on the life of Peggy Abkhazi is wonderful.
  • Victoria's secret.. You must go often and during each season. Amazing history behind the place - buy and read the book....

Where to stay in Victoria

The curling waterfront Wharf Street, which becomes Store Street, offers the best selection of lodgings in the city center, although you can expect to pay extra for the trademark views. Many travelers opt to stay in the neighborhood of James Bay, where Belleville Street and surrounds provide comfortable and even luxurious options. For something more relaxed and closer to nature, look south to the expansive Beacon Hill Park.
