Polson Park, Vernon
(4.1/5 based on 170+ reviews on the web)
Escape the hustle and bustle of Vernon at Polson Park, a verdant space combining lush greenery and plenty of sports facilities. For some peace and quiet, head to the intricately manicured Japanese garden, donated by the city's Japanese community. Depending on the season, you might catch a game of soccer or tennis here, or you can get active yourself along the running trails or at the lawn bowling area. Keep your eye out for the park's floral clock, installed in 1958, and stop by the duck pond to see the resident foul. With our online itinerary creator, Vernon attractions like Polson Park can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • It's a nice park but there are no dogs allowed anywhere which sucks a bit, huge pond full of ducks, tennis courts, totems, zen rock gardens for stoners and very decent and new kids playground.
  • Nice, quiet place with beautiful flower beds, ducks in the pond, benches and gazebos.
  • It's pretty. But it's the place for junkies, druggies, and homeless people o hangout.
  • A really nice quiet place to take an afternoon stroll. Keeps pretty busy, but there's always parking. Homeless people often hang out in here, but usually leave you alone.
  • Polson is like the bad peanut. the outside of it looks normal and pretty just like the other peanuts. but the inside of it can be rotten.
