  • The park is split in two areas as far as I am concerned. You have the lower camping and lake area which is very nice and quiet. Then then there is the upper area which has trails for biking, hiking an...  more »
  • Have visited many times for biking with family but also staying at the camp ground, you have to book early for camping, very busy during the summer months

  • Camping here was easy and fun. The park rep who came around to check people in and supply fire wood (1 bundle for $8 or 3 for $20) had a dry (and fun!) sense of humour. They have a pet and two non-pet beaches, with benches and a net up. All were nice and clean.
  • Beautiful spot for camping or just day use. Small snack shack in Campground.. pet beach.. playground with a field.. great time for the whole family if you enjoy being out in the great outdoors!
  • Great views and even some wildlife if you're lucky. A few beaches to choose from including a dog beach. It's a bit of hike up and down to get to the beaches and there's only a couple handicap parking spaces closer to the water so not recommended for anyone with physical disabilities.
  • Great place for mountain biking. I haven't explored too much of the area around the beach, but the blue diamond trail I did was great. 1.5 hrs up, 0.5 hrs down.
  • Beautiful setting with forests and cliffs. Beach is a bit gravelly (as opposed to fine sand) but very clean. It's a bit of a walk down from the parking lot - just so you are aware; not too bad though - maybe 5 minutes
