So after heading here and paying the 36.00 dollars yes 36.00 for something to small it's not worth it. As a solo traveler I enjoyed walking in Stanley park more than trying to enjoy this Small aquariu... read more »
This is a must, well laid out and well put together. Set in Stanley Park just a 10 minute walk to the Totum poles very nice setting and affordable.
We went to the aquarium purely as the weather was bad, but it was an extremely rewarding experience. The rescue dolphin and false killer whale were lovely and natural, not forced on show like disgusti... read more »
Over priced for what you get. Took young family their for the first time. Drove around for over 30-45 mins looking for parking. Paid over $70.00 for two us which I didn't think was two bad considering we hadn't been their before. Attractions were lame, had next to nothing for cool marine life(sharks, whales, etc). The way they advertise it it looks great until you get their, its really small and super over crowded. Compared to other things around Van to do I would say this is WAY over rated, save your money and walk along the oceanfront you'll have a better time and see all the same stuff.
The best place to take your family !! it is fun exciting at every visit. Always something new to learn and experience at this place. I highly recommend the membership, you'll never get bored of coming back. I love the care and dedication of staff toward the marine life. Love the Vancouver Aquarium!! ❤🐳
Great place to have an adventure with your family. Lots of sea life to learn about. The Amazon section is my kids favorite. My family loves sitting down below and watch the dolphins and belugas. The animals are well cared for. Just an overall great place to spend a day in. I never get bored no matter how many times I go. Their children's meal (2 chicken strips, fries, and a drink) you is a good value. Enough for an adult as well as the children. I bought a membership because I love the aquarium. The membership has great benefits. 20℅ off another admittance fee, their gift shop, and their restaurants. Plus 20℅ off other places such as the zoo, Science World, and other places. The aquarium is a must see. You will not regret it.
Incredible displays of local marine life and from ecosystems around the world. Vancouver Aquarium does a great job of providing an entertaining and educational visit not just in tanks and pools but through their conservation, coastal clean up and marine animal rescue initiatives. The aquarium itself is usually busy making an annual membership and the perks it comes with (like early entry) attractive to locals and even visitor who might only be in town a few days.
Excellent aquarium with a variety of unique animals, such as beluga whales. The jellyfish exhibit is sure to impress, and the exhibit on local BC marine life is cool. The stingray touch tank sounds gimmicky, but is actually super fun. Expensive.
