The aquarium is especially a child's delight. I recommend it for adults, too. It's well done and very informative.  more »

We visited here on a rainy afternoon. I came before years ago when the beluga whales were there and I was sad to see they are no more. There’s plenty of stuff to do if it’s wet and I loved seeing the ...  more »

We went to the aquarium because it was raining and wanted to see the animals. The otters were so much fun. The price was somewhat expensive for the two of us. I believe it was about $85 or so. It was ...  more »

You can't really beat the aquarium. Nestled in the incredible Stanley Park, there are hundreds of lovely sea creatures ready to great you and keep you entertained for hours on end. I've got some younger nieces and nephews, so I assumed me taking them there for a visit was a trip only for them. Boy was I wrong. I really underestimated how much I stood to learn about our lovely friends under the sea. The staff is so knowledgeable AND you can tell they really truly love what they do. Tours are always readily available and at no additional fee. What struck me as well was their commitment to Ocean sustainability - it isn't all about watching animals swim around in tanks. The story about how they saved that dolphin, Chester, really struck me. They're really doing beautiful things there. They absolutely could stand to have better food options, or allow us to bring in outside food :P

This a great Aquarium. It has a variety of many different Coastal environments, and doesn't focus on needing to display only tropical fish. The Dolphin/ Rescue exhibit is nice to see, especially since they have a fake Killer Wake. Too bad the Beluga whales passed last year. The final thing is that they display descriptions very well, so you can easily contrast different Coastal areas of Vancouver. This is a must see, that rivals other great West Coast Aquariums.

We so love coming to the aquarium. My husband and I have gone a few times just the two of us and we finally had the chance to bring our daughter this trip! It was wonderful to see the porpoise and the false killer whale chester. I love the educational focus of this aquarium. Visiting the aquarium is a must!

An outstanding aquarium! A bit pricey at $36, but their emphasis on conservation and the exhibits make it well worth it. The staff is very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Overall, it was an excellent visit.

The aquarium is fun and beautiful. I loved the sea otters, and I don't think I've seen so many types of jellyfish before. However, the price of admission is steep. I recommend going as soon as they open in the morning because it gets crowded by noon.
