  • An impressive marine conservation, research and rescue centre. We arrived for the 9.30am opening and enjoyed visiting the outdoor pools of otters and sea lions without crowds. Find the ‘research outpo...  more »
  • Not a bad price if you take into account the Aquariums research and educational role which needs funding. I thought the inside "tanks" were on the small side and the labelling of most fish was too sma...  more »
  • The visit this time had a big push towards awareness of plastic pollution. We have enjoyed the stingray pool in the past with our kids. The 4d theatre was awesome but scary for young kids at times (sh...  more »

  • This place is worth every penny. Great place for families, especially kids to run around and explore. It has multiple levels including an outdoor section. Very clean and up to date. The staff were friendly, approachable and very informative about the exhibits. Definitely check out the bird sanctuary exhibit where you go into a cage where animals roam around you. I look forward to visiting again. So much to learn about marine biology that I couldn't soak it in one trip.
  • If you’re a BC resident and buy your tickets online you get 15% off! Need MINIMUM 3 hours to see everything and that’s not even enough. So many cool/cute critters and creatures, especially fun for kids - educational and interactive. 10/10 would recommend. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it to go once a year.
  • The best aquarium I've been to! The variety of aquatic life is mind-boggling. The layout of the aquarium, as well as the tanks are beyond words. The facility is clean and organized. The staff are amazing. The 4-D theatre is so unique(and a bit scary at first). The mammals are fantastic. There are even penguins! The Amazon rainforest exhibit is super realistic. Cannot recommend this place enough!
  • Really amazing. The shows are very well done. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable. The exhibits are really interesting and well explained. Budget easily 3 hours at minimum to see everything and take in a show or 2. Weekends are very busy too. Go early.
  • Amazing experience! The indoor aquarium part was spectacular! Kids loved the new stingray exhibit too. The larger sea animal tanks outside were pretty murky and gross though. I'm sure they're doing their best, but I'm glad they're transitioning away from having larger animals.
