  • Having kids, we always go to some science centre at every destination. Compared to others we have been to, it was expensive for what was there and what activities were there. Nothing to rave about but...  more »

  • My daughter (7) and I (>7) loved this place. Lots of exhibits, lots of staff and many, many things to do. We had a blast and it was difficult to get her to leave. It's always great for kids to have such a great time while learning about science. Well done to all involved in designing and implementing this science center.
  • A perennial favorite is the cool IMAX movies they have here and the innovative exhibits. A great place to stimulate kid's interest in the weird and wonderful aspects of science. Lots of parking close by (some free, some not). It's an easy (7 min) walk to Olympic Village along the seawall path (heading south) if you are looking for a choice of eats or change of scene. Giving it four stars only because the single ticket cost for local residents is very expensive.
  • It's a great place to take your kids. Lots of great exhibits. Although I think they need to update some of the super old stuff. I only go twice a year and my kids have been seeing some of the same stuff for the last 4 years. The rotating exhibits are great though. Especially when they have a Lego exhibit.
  • So much to see and do with the family. Lots of exhibits about sustainability. Great demonstrations happen regularly. The outdoor exhibits are worth venturing out for and are very interactive. Top floor has some great learn and play exhibits where parents can let their kids run free.
  • Took my girlfriend there over the holidays. Great place to be when it is cold outside and you don't want to stay home. Love the puzzles and all the fun things you can do. We missed the IMAX movie this time due to later appointments but we had a great time in general. One down size is that it is kinda pricey but that is just one man's opinion.
