  • We were leaving Vancouver the following day, so we wanted to do something low key. We took transit to the beach and had a very nice walk on the beach and in the park. They have nice facilities. There ...  more »

  • My favourite beach in all of Vancouver. It’s more low key since it’s not right downtown and you get the gorgeous views. The beach is beautiful with lots of area for seating. Grass or sand. There are many volleyball posts and a basketball court, tennis court, work out area and playground. Lots of really good restaurants near this area as well. Great area for a walk or for a day at the park or beach!
  • Great beach 🏖 for weekend fun, busy on week days too....awesome views for photography....had good time during summer lights show ....good for pre wedding photo shoots......volleyball courts, Tennis courts, pool and plenty of parking. Sand, sunshine, water and good restaurant makes it a must visit place when in Vancouver 🌃🏞
  • It was promised that it is a heated pool of 25 degrees Celsius. However, the temperature was well below 20. The kids and some adults in our group were shivering! Second, we were late for 10 minutes to the closing time, a lady came with that kind of upside-down look to is and yelled at us to “You have to leave.” We just were talking and forgot to leave, and if she just asked we would have left. The police men and women around the area were superbly nice compared to that lady. Bad experience!
  • Got here just at sunset. The view was amazing as the colors reflected off the water. There are change rooms close to the beach making it convenient for having the kids change their clothes before heading home. There is a rubber matt to walk on and sit on for those who wish to avoid the sand. It can get pretty busy by the looks of the number of people that were there. It is great place to bring the whole family.
  • The beach is great on a hot day but is often not suitable for swimming because of the chloroform content in the water. There are changerooms and plenty of food available.
