English Bay, Vancouver
(4.6/5 based on 2,000+ reviews on the web)
Stroll along the sea wall, or enjoy the beautiful urban shore at English Bay, the most populated beach area in downtown Vancouver. Amenities at the beach include washrooms, beach wheelchairs, parking facilities, and a beach lifesaving patrol. Hire a kayak and paddle out into the beautiful bay, or enjoy a game of beach volleyball on the courts. If you happen to be here on New Year's Day and are feeling brave, consider the Polar Bear Swim, an annual winter's dip into the frigid ocean. Arrange to visit English Bay and other attractions in Vancouver using our Vancouver tour planner.

  • Sea air and plenty of space. You live so this corner of Vancouver. Sundays or Species. Increasingly frequent diagnoses are mild afternoons. Watch the bike and pedestrian walkway divided. We respect the rules here. Then, you can sit on a bench and listen to the sea, or enjoy a sunset. The more energetic? Next up to Stanley park!

  • Walking the shoreline along English Bay was a relaxing way to spend a Saturday. Even though the weather was cool and damp, the beautiful views, ships and sailboats on the water were great.
