English Bay, Vancouver
(4.6/5 based on 2,000+ reviews on the web)
Stroll along the sea wall, or enjoy the beautiful urban shore at English Bay, the most populated beach area in downtown Vancouver. Amenities at the beach include washrooms, beach wheelchairs, parking facilities, and a beach lifesaving patrol. Hire a kayak and paddle out into the beautiful bay, or enjoy a game of beach volleyball on the courts. If you happen to be here on New Year's Day and are feeling brave, consider the Polar Bear Swim, an annual winter's dip into the frigid ocean. Arrange to visit English Bay and other attractions in Vancouver using our Vancouver tour planner.

  • Vancouver has to offer many beauties, the English Bay is one of the big attractions of this city. Close to the Centre and on the water. We have lived there in the vicinity and could walk at all times of the day along the beach. The locals are there hiking, joggend, driving bike, skateboardend on the road and enjoy this open-air arena without transport with stunning views of the sea and the large cargo ships in the background.
