Stop at Canada Place, the region’s main cruise ship terminal, and watch as crowds of passengers disembark to be met by the frigid Alaskan weather. An important location in the city, the docks house several landmarks, including the Vancouver Convention Centre and Vancouver’s World Trade Centre. Observe the unusual architecture, modeled on a boat sail, or take to the skies on the virtual flight ride, FlyOver Canada. Enjoy a meal cooked by renowned chefs at the complex’s restaurant, or simply take in the wonderful waterfront views, as sea birds soar past and various seafaring vessels come and go. Good spot to pick up the hop on hop off trolley and to get your bearings. A few shops around and a place to enjoy coffee etc while soaking up the atmosphere. Our cruise ship left from here
Beautiful architecture and touristic area. Nice restaurants. Be careful with "bike lanes," some bikers are aggressive and rude to pedestrians wandering into their domain. This being a high-traffic pedestrian area, bikers should be forced to lower their speed. Interestingly, not any kind of law enforcement officers were seen in the entire area for days. They showed up only after being called by tourists that got robbed in daylight in the Gastown area.
Awesome place with great view. You see the beautiful sky, boats, ships, sea planes, ocean, and mountains all in one picture. Nice to walk around and it's not crazy crowded. There are flenty of food and drink options around the area too.
Huge! Lots of walking to be done. Great views of North Van. Lots of pokéstops for you pokego players, usually lured. But good for a bit of sight seeing and waterfront type pictures.
Iconic convention center. Home to the Soaring Over Canada attraction. On the ground are the 10 Canadian provinces and 3 territories and some cities in each region. The waterfront is beautiful, great for strolling at sundown (or any time of the day.)
This is an absolutely “must see” attraction when visiting beautiful Vancouver! Lots to see and great photo opportunities as well. Also you can go on “Fly Over Canada” and enjoy an amazing experience!
