Create an itinerary including Bill Reid Gallery
Located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, Bill Reid Gallery is Northwest Canada’s only gallery dedicated to contemporary indigenous art. Appreciate the striking pieces on display at the museum, which was opened in 2008 and named after Haida artist Bill Reid, who was a goldsmith, carver, sculptor, writer, and spokesman. Alongside indigenous art, the gallery also houses Reid’s gold and silvery jewelry, sculptures made from bronze and stone, and a full-scale totem pole. Stop by the gift shop, where you can browse through aboriginal art, finely crafted jewelry, and accessories and giftware. • The museum is dedicated to Bill Reid's work. It can be checked out in 45 minutes. Worth's the visit.

  • I always take my out-of-town guests here. The art display is amazing- jewelry, carvings, textiles, and a totem pole. The Gallery is in the core of downtown Vancouver so easy to drop by to check it out.
  • I had a great time here! In particular I enjoyed the gallery tour. If you can, I recommend timing your visit so you can see the tour (it runs at 11am and 2pm Tues-Sun).
  • You need to pay around $13 two floors only 30 mins is good enough. Free for new Canadian Citizen. This is a go.
  • Really nice place to visit. Mostly native, the gallery is interesting and beautiful. Worth making a stop there. They also have a shop which has great original ideas for gifts.
  • This is a very interesting museum of the work of a very talented artist based on indigenous peoples. Worth spending some time visiting a truly remarkable artist's work.
