  • Just an FYI that Splashdown park closed permanently in early September, 2016. It is no longer available for visiting, so perhaps should be removed from this list of things to do in Delta! :)
  • After been to a well maintained water park like great wolf lodge. Splashdown is expectedly not as good Even the advanced slides were not going fast enough. I prep myself by reading the reviews here ah...  read more »
  • The slides are fun but you have to wait for too long due to an abnormally long time between the swimmers. So patience! The worst is the total abscence of cleanliness (shocking in a country like Canada...  read more »
  • Was there on August 27, 2016. I don't understand the bad reviews. Place was clean (including bathroom) , not too busy, food looked decent, reasonable staff, etc. Our family had a great time (kids aged 4 - 12). Sorry it is closing. We would go again happily.
  • There has been no update on the slides and park overall in years. Pait is peeling for the slides and inside of the pools. There is dirt and sand and small pieces of trash floating around in the pools. The steel and iron supports for the slides are showing their age with a lot of rust on the support bolts. The washrooms are grungy and dirty with toilet stalls out of order. It is the busiest time of the year for this park and to not have access to the facilities to change and use the bathrooms is very disappointing. There is a smell of sewage when you walk past the water grates close to the change rooms and bathrooms. Life guards and all staff are very very young. They are mostly under the ages of 20-25. Some of the work and job expectations the park owners expect from these young teens goes against work safe health and safety regulations! Stick with Cultus Lake Water Park! Even if it is far and costs higher. You can see the money going back into the park and the maintenance as well as the staffing.
  • The place looks old but it is still pretty fun. They have a large grass area for picnics and family. You can rent BBQ's and tables as well. They have sand for volleyball as well. Biggest rides are the innertube ones in the back or the river float in the front. They have some speed slides as well. Going midweek will cut down on slide waits. If you book ahead for large parties you can usually get a pretty decent discount.
  • Love it since i was a kid. So sad its closing down. pls dont tare this place down
  • So many great childhood memories. Great for birthday parties or family outings. Love that you can bring your own food! It's always sunny in Tsawwassen!
