  • The view from the ferry was stunning. We have seen beautiful sunset with this wonderful city in the background. The beach was so quiet and beautiful. Amazing nature in the middle of the huge city.  more »

  • It's nice place to spend the day, especially walking along the Island, well worth it when you make to one side of the island or another. Not sure why people say the waters dirty, any public water needs to be filtered before drinking. Does get busy since it's so close to the downtown core.
  • Great beach - mostly because it's much less busy than Hanlan's. Can even get away with playing with your dog in the water at the further end of the beach. Water is nice and beach itself has nice sand and not too rocky or seaweedy.
  • My favourite place in the City. Love coming here on a weekday in summer.
  • Quiet. Nice Beach. Great place to spend an afternoon by the lake.
  • My go-to-beach in the island. Small but nice, much less crowded than Hanlan's Point.
