  • We went for a Raptors game on New Years Day. The arena is easy to find, but there isn't a whole lot of free or inexpensive parking available in the area. We ended up parking in a restaurant parking lot and hoping that we didn't get a parking ticket, which we didn't, but we were lucky to have not gotten one that night. Then we waited outside the arena's locked doors with everyone else on one of the coldest nights this winter until about one hour before game time. They could have let us in a bit early rather than have us stand out in the cold for so long. Once we were inside and in our seats the game was great, great atmosphere, just lots of fun. I wish the food and beverage prices were a little more reasonable, they aren't, so we went out to eat after the game instead..
  • Great place for a concert. Close to Union Station, the subway and GO Transit. A short distance to the Gardiner Expressway. There is good parking several blocks away that is cheaper than the lots nearby. Security checks at the door are for your safety, so don't complain. You can't bring water in with you, but you can bring a bottle that you can fill up from a water fountain inside. The sound is good and the seats are fairly comfortable.
  • First time going to this arena. Took my 9 year old daughter to see Katy Perry. What an amazing show. Got her the front row, Which I would highly recommend if able to! Lots of leg room and space to stretch out. The people sitting behind us, not so much. They had to sit sideways. But if it's where you want to be, you sit where you need to. As an entertainment venue it is expensive, bit they all are so just be prepared!
  • Not a very good place for a hockey game because the Toronto fans tend not to show up until the third period and then sit quietly on their hands. OK place for a basketball game - loads of excitement and giveaways. The Raptors are fun. A concert can be good or can be so-so. Arcade Fire was awesome while Springsteen seemed sanitized and the place was too big for our Hip experience. Lots of food - easy access and plenty of men's washrooms. Need more women washrooms.
  • Great venue. Been here for sports games, conferences, and concerts and it never disappoints. A very well oiled machine in churning in and out visitors. Food and drink selection is good and it’s always clean and comfortable. Staff is always friendly and willing to help should you need anything.

Where to stay in Toronto

Most visitors stay in the historic neighborhood of Old Toronto, as the central district offers unparalleled access to the best attractions in the city and several metro stations within walking distance. If you're looking for a different taste of Toronto, stay in the trendy neighborhoods of West Queen West or King West Village, popular for their nightlife, arts, and cafe scenes. You can embrace Toronto's multicultural charms by staying in Chinatown, perhaps the city's best location for foodies.
