I attended the mass for the restoration and other workers on the renovation. Wow! I was blown away and as the new organ filled the now Basilica with its beauty, I could not help but think how lucky I ... read more »
Hieno vanha kirkko tämäkin, mutta ehkä vaatimattomin Kirkkokadun kirkoista. Lähistön kadulla käy kova vilinä aamusta iltaan.A fine old church, too, but maybe the humble Church Street churches. Nearby on the street is hard to escape from morning to evening.show original

Absolutely gorgeous cathedral. Traditional novus ordo mass with the unmatched St Michaels Boys Choir. The Easter Vigil was a beautiful service with the Cardinal leading us in worship.
Great Church to visit specially if you are in Down town The church is still in good shape as it possess a good history behind it. The arches and two bells makes it look like one's from Roman empire. Worker's found around sixty bodies claiming that the property was a graveyard when they started constructing the church where the coffins where moved to another graveyard while six bodies are still kept underneath the entrance of the church where one belongs to a construction worker who died during construction of the church. Don't worry the crepe is accessible by public during regular hours.
Absolutely Beautiful! St. Michael's is currently undergoing some restorations but it's still a magnificent church. Maybe I'm a bit biased since I was married at the cathedral 30 years ago and all my children have made their sacraments there as well. What can I say, the choir school is outstanding during the Sunday masses. If you're a tourist visiting Toronto, you must attend a Sunday mass to fully appreciate it.
