  • This park is lovely! Full of flowers, well cared for. Lots of places to sit and a fountain. A nice place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or some gelato (there's a gelato place across the street).  more »
  • A cute little park with these great deckchairs dotted around. Lots of people here sitting and enjoying the sun. It's a good idea to buy some local food from the nearby St Lawrence Market and enjoy...  more »
  • There is a very pretty flower garden at the front of the park that is well tended - not a weed in sight. Behind it is a grassed park area in which, I believe, they hold concerts in the summer.  more »

  • After wandering downtown, this is a nice little spot to enjoy the weather and perhaps have a sandwich in a bench. However, there are a ton of people walking their dogs. They're on leashes but it's quite chaotic at times. There are plenty of homeless folks sleeping all over the place and at times will approach you for change. So yeah. It's a public park. Also, don't have a picnic here. The flocks of pigeons will come and they will have the look of hunger in their beady little eyes.
  • Beautiful large park in the city. Many areas to enjoy like a gazebo, flowers and fountain, under large trees, and listen to the church bells. During the summer, they have music and movie nights.
  • My favourite lunch time spot. The gardens are so beautiful. A place to sit and dream for an hour.
  • Music in the park. Flowers. Good shortcut. Great photo venue.
  • Park itself is nice. Does attract a somewhat shady albeit generally harmless crowd but that's just the general shadiness of the area (ie: proximity to Cracktown). It's quite a great place to hang out when the weather's great or as a quick short cut during the day to work.

Where to stay in Toronto

Most visitors stay in the historic neighborhood of Old Toronto, as the central district offers unparalleled access to the best attractions in the city and several metro stations within walking distance. If you're looking for a different taste of Toronto, stay in the trendy neighborhoods of West Queen West or King West Village, popular for their nightlife, arts, and cafe scenes. You can embrace Toronto's multicultural charms by staying in Chinatown, perhaps the city's best location for foodies.
